During 2016-2018, I led a team of developers, animators and researchers in partnership with The Sorbonne-Paris, the Center for Augmented Cognition and The Fung Center at UC Berkeley.
Baloo - AUGMENTED REALITY
Baloo is an augmented reality application designed to provide a therapeutic and interactive experience by projecting Baloo, an animated dog, into the surroundings of one’s physical environment. The user can pet, feed, do deep breathing exercises with, and play fetch with Baloo.
College Alcohol Safety training (CAST) - Virtual reality
High alcohol consumption by undergraduate college students is a complex public health problem in the U.S. The goal of our prototype is to determine whether VR is an effective tool in teaching students about alcohol safety and risk prevention by training students in a simulated fraternity party.
The living Room - Virtual Reality
According to the United Nations, in 1950, the world had 2.5 billion people. In 2005, the population increased to 6.5 billion people. By 2050, the number of inhabitants on earth could rise to more than 9 billion. The Living Room is a VR experience that immerses the user into what population growth and resource scarcity on our planet look like in a living room.
